This program has been built for beginner cooks with little to no experience cooking. As such, teaching foundational skills and kitchen safety are at the forefront of this offering.

Sizzling Summer is back and better than ever! In Sizzling Summer, campers will learn both foundational culinary and pastry skills while they slice and dice their way through 3+ innovative summer inspired recipes every day. All recipes featured in Sizzling Summer are inclusive to vegetarians and nutritionally balanced, providing opportunities to share valuable lessons about personal nutrition and working with nutritionally dense ingredients. 

If your child has an interest in both baking and cooking, ready to expand their palates, and excited to take their kitchen skills to the next level, then Sizzling Summer is the perfect program for them. We hope to see you there!

Objective: To teach our campers fundamental life and culinary skills through the preparation of delicious and nutritious summer inspired recipes. In completing Sizzling Summer, campers will leave with the knowledge, experience and understanding on how to prepare over 15 of our signature summer recipes independently at home. 

MENU SNEAK PEAK:

• Teriyaki Tofu or Turkey Lettuce Wraps,
• Mango and lime Sorbet,
• Cucumber Quinoa Mint Salad,
• Lemon Squares,
• Broccoli Fritters with Greek Yogurt and Chive Dip,
• Keto Cauliflower Bites 

This session can be modified to accommodate the following food allergens for certain menu items. Not all dishes can be modified.
