  • Cancellation requests must be made via email at least 21 days before the start date of your child’s camp session. All cancellations and refunds that are accepted will be subject to a $100 administration fee per camp session and per child cancelled. There are no substitutions, make-up days or refunds for cancellations requested or missed days after the start date of your child’s camp session. Should camps be unable to run or cancelled due to government imposed restrictions or lockdowns, all registrants will receive a credit for future use for the full value of the camp.
  • If either you or your child/ward is unable to attend a camp, you may send someone else as a replacement if he or she has read and agreed to the terms and conditions in this Contract.
  • We reserve the right to refuse enrolment or to dismiss a camper if, in our sole discretion, such refusal or dismissal is necessary to preserve the safety and security of the camp and/or other campers and participants. You will not be entitled to a refund in the case of such a dismissal.
  • Camper uniforms are mandatory for all camp programs for hygienic reasons. If your child does not have a uniform, you must order one at the time of registration so it is ready for your camper on their first day of camp. Campers will not be permitted entry to camp without a uniform and a fee of $100 would apply to courier one to their camp location.
  • Early and late drop off is available as an added service for all of our camps. Should you bring or collect your child/ward outside of the stated hours for the camp, we will charge the cost of the early and late drop off service to your account.
  • If Rooks to Cooks must cancel a camp due to unforeseen circumstances or circumstances outside of our control, you will have the following options:
  • A full refund, less an administrative fee of $100 per camp session booked
  • A full credit to be used towards any available services
  • Although we benefit from a very high approval rate from the families who choose our camps, we make no guarantees that every child will appreciate our efforts. Therefore, in the unlikely event that a child is unhappy with our Camp Program, a refund will NOT be provided.

Virtual Classes, Courses and Camps

  • Any cancellations made 10+ business days from the start of your program, class or camp will result in a full refund less a $28.00 administrative fee per class, course or camp.

  • If you cancel 6 or less business days from the start of your program, class or camp, there are NO REFUNDS and NO TRANSFERS permitted.

Private Lessons and Classes

  • All payments for lessons and classes are non-refundable.
  • If you are unable to attend your booked private lesson, you must notify us by telephone or by e-mail at least 7 business days before your class date to change to another class or to send someone else as a replacement.
  • If you are unable to reschedule your lesson or to send another individual in your place AND If the personalized cooking program (the “PCP”) has not been created, a credit towards another of our Services will be issued to you.
  • You may only send someone else as a replacement for a private lesson if they have read and agreed to the terms and conditions in this Contract. If the replacement wants to have a new PCP created for him or her, an administrative fee will be charged.
  • In the event of cancellation, booked group classes are not eligible for refunds or rescheduling.

Sickness, Illness or Inclement Weather

  • There are no exceptions for any reason including, but not limited to inclement weather, sickness or illness, family circumstances, traffic etc.
  • Consider our cooking classes and camps like cooking “events”. If you fail to show up to an event, such as a concert, you cannot get a credit back from the concert venue, no matter the reason. Please think of our classes and camps the same way.

  • Although we benefit from a very high approval rate from the families who choose our camps, we make no guarantees that every child will appreciate our efforts. Therefore, in the unlikely event that a child is unhappy with our Camp Program, a refund will NOT be provided.
