SUSHI WORKSHOPS AT ST.PAUL's UNITED- FUNDRAISER FOR BLUFF's FOOD BANK
Join us for a fun and hands-on Sushi Workshop where you’ll learn the basics of making your own cucumber maki rolls! The session will begin with a short demonstration on Japanese sushi rice where we show you how it’s prepared and what makes it the perfect base for sushi! Using pre-made sushi rice, participants will then roll up their sleeves and create their own maki rolls from start to finish. You’ll practice simple knife skills by cutting your own cucumber, learn how to roll sushi using traditional techniques, and slice your finished rolls to enjoy! Best of all, this event supports a great cause. All proceeds from the workshop will be donated to the Bluffs Food Bank. Come learn a new skill, have fun, and help support the community!
Location: 200 McIntosh St, Scarborough, ON M1N 3Z3 (nearest TTC subway station is Victoria Park Station)

Time: 10am-2:45pm
Time Slots: 4 time slots
Duration: 1 hour each--> 10am-11am, 11:15am-12:15pm, 12:30pm-1:30pm, 1:45pm- 2:45pm
Capacity PER time slot: 20 participants
Ages: 6+
Cost: $20+HST/ participant ****All Proceeds will go to the Bluff's Food Bank ****
Take home: Participants will take home 2-3 Cucumber Maki Rolls, Soy sauce provided (optional). Chopsticks provided.
Ingredients: Rice, Nori (seaweed), Cucumber, Rice Vinegar, Salt, Sugar. Sesame seeds (optional)
